We had a great time in Seaside with the fam! Davis loved the beach and the pool! I was spoiled by all of the help I had with Davis. Everyone helped babysit and feed him--it was so nice! We were able to enjoy the pool, beach, shopping, and eating out, and Michael and Chris played a ton of golf because there was always someone offering to keep or help with Davis. Amy, Chris, Michael and I went to dinner one night which was a lot of fun. They had a band, so of course, Amy and I danced. It was so much fun, but Michael and Chris just sat at a table and watched us. How boring!? We had great weather, great food, and a great time being with my family. It was a blast! I just wish we could all vacation together more often!

Memorial Day Weekend in Highlands. . . .
This past weekend, we went to Highlands, and the Coles came up from Charleston to spend the weekend with us. We hiked, shopped, cooked out, and ate soooo much. Kali is pregnant, and so we ate cheeseburgers, cheese fries, ice cream, bbq, onion rings, Rotel dip, guacamole, fajitas, steaks. . . .need I say more??? Needless to say, I'm on a "diet" this week. No cheeseburgers, no chips and dip, no fried foods and no ice cream. ha! I don't know what happens to me when I go on vacation. I eat like it's my last meal! :) We had not seen Scott, Kali or Asher since last June when Asher was about 2 months old. It was great to see them and catch up. We wish they still lived here--we miss them so much!! Davis and Asher had so much fun playing, and believe it or not LOVED our hikes. They weren't very long hikes, but they loved being in their "carriers." The weather was wonderful--60-70 degrees during the day and no humidity! So nice! Here are a few pics from our weekend.

Davis and friends. . . .
We just finished Kindermusik a couple of weeks ago, and will start back in August. Davis loves his Kindermusik class, and I loved watching him interact with the other kids and seeing the excitement on his face when he heard the fun music and sounds. He especially had fun with Jake, and his Mom, Sara and I loved watching them play. They both have full heads of hair, and Jake is only about 6 weeks older than Davis.
The other picture is from Recipe Club/Playgroup that was at our house a couple of weeks ago. Daley was in town, so she and Harper stopped by, and Porter and Davis played once again. They go way back! ha!

Davis hanging out in the pack n play. . . .
Now that Davis is crawling all over the house, he gets to play in his pack n play about once a day when I really need to get something done! Yesterday, I was desperate to finish getting ready. He had just gotten up from his nap, and he was ready for his 11 o'clock bottle. So, desperate me put him in his pack n play, propped him up on a pillow and let him feed himself the bottle. It was so funny. Daley gave me the idea of putting a lot of balls in there with him to make a big ball pit. That is what I'm going to do soon! He will love it!

Beach Trip with the Girls. . . .
Last weekend was so much fun! I had a weekend with "the girls" at the beach. We were all so excited to see each other and be free for a few days!!! We shopped, ate, relaxed, and of course, hit the bars at Baytowne Wharf. We even stressed about what we were going to wear like we did when we were in college. Why? I don't know. ha! We met some really "interesting" people at the Village Door, and showed off some of our dance moves from our college days. We felt so old! It was fun though!
