I can't believe it's been over four months since I've posted on our blog!!! I admit that I have gotten a little out of the habit, but hopefully, I will do better! We had a very busy summer. . . .beach trips, Highlands, wedding parties, South Beach, and Davis' 2 nd Birthday!!!! It has been a fun few months!

Easter Sunday. . . .

We had a GREAT Easter! My Mom and grandmother came to our house on Thursday to see us, but especially Davis. Dad came on Saturday. Davis loves having company, and new people around the house. Mom and Butty kept him Friday night while Michael and I had a much needed date night! We have been so busy lately, we haven't been out together in a while. So, we went to Gianmarco's, and had a wonderful dinner and great "grown-up" conversation! Sunday was kind of hectic because we had to get to church early to get seats, so between the Easter bunny dropping off lots of goodies to hunting eggs and everyone getting ready, it was a crazy morning. All that to say, we took lots of pics of Davis, but didn't get a good family picture which I'm sad about. We had an awesome brunch at Grey House Grill, and a very lazy Sunday afternoon. Thank you to my sweet family for being here with us on such a special day, and for always helping us with Davis. Michael and I love having you here with us! Davis misses Gigi, Buck, and Buppy. He cried and cried when they left. It was sooo sad. . . .

Easter Bunny. . . .

I took Davis to see the Easter bunny, and he did very well! I couldn't believe that he wasn't scared. The bunny was a little dingy and dirty which was gross, but Davis loved it! Afterwards, we ate Chick-Fil A with Cydney and Caroline.

Lily's 2nd Birthday. . . .

Lily is a sweet friend of ours that we met at Gymboree. Her birthday party was this past Saturday, and it was sooo much fun. Davis had a blast. His buddys, Caroline and Jake were there, and they all three had fun playing on Lily's new swing set/play house and her very own bounce house. Since the party was Easter weekend, there was an egg hunt which Davis loves! Here are a few pics from the party. . . .

Better Late Than Never. . . .

Two weeks ago this past Sunday, we woke up to a huge surprise! A lot of snow! Cydney brought Caroline over, and we bundled her and Davis up and turned them loose in the snow! It was hilarious. They were soaked, and didn't even care! ha! It was sooo cold and windy, but it didn't stop them from running and playing and falling down, of course! By mid-afternoon, it was pretty much gone! It was fun while it lasted though! Maybe it killed some mosquitos that would have otherwise swarmed us in a few months. That would be so nice!

Gymboree Class. . . .

Well, we've taken Kindermusik until now, and we decided to take a class a Gymboree. Jake, Caroline, and Davis LOVE it! It's a change of scenery, and a change of pace for them. They love to climb on the equipment, and play under the parachute. There are lots of lunch spots near the Gymboree Gym so it's fun for us Moms, too! The kids have so much fun together, and Cydney, and Sara and I have a great time, too. It's a great outing for these cold winter days. I just love to see the excitement on their little faces. . . .it's adorable! A side note: Caroline has a little crush on Davis which is so adorable. She definitley has her moves down pat. . . .I think she learned some of them from her Mommy. ha!!! (just kidding Cydney) Davis loves her too! He also loves, loves, loves Jake, and I don't know what we're going to do when the Dorfmans move to Baltimore. We're definitely going to visit!!! Here are a few pics from Gymboree today!

Poor Davis Gets Tubes. . . .

Most of you probably know Davis' history with ear infections. Both Michael and I had the same ear issues when we were babies, so Davis, bless his heart, gets it honestly. Christmas was kind of the breaking point for Davis. He had an ear infection the week of Christmas that his antibiotic didn't help at all. We switched antibiotics twice, and in the meantime, were scheduled for tubes, on January 16th. We had some hellacious nights before the 16th, but thank the Lord, Davis is better now!

We had to be at Children's South at 6:15am on Friday, and they took him back at 7:45. The procedure lasted about 10 minutes, and then he was in recovery for about 15 minutes. He was a little out of it for a little while, but it didn't take him long to be back to himself! Now he has a viral sore throat, but at least his ears are free of infection and fluid!!! We are so happy that he is not in pain, and thankful that he was such a good sport! Here are a few pics with some "boons" that he got that day from his cousins and the "Melmo" balloon from his friend Caroline McDowell. Davis loves, loves, loves "boons" so his day was made for sure! Thanks to everyone who emailed or called to check on him--so sweet!
