First high chair experience and more. . .

This weekend while at Amy's, Davis tried out Cooper's high chair. He loved it! He really liked beating on the tray while I fed him! Tatum enjoyed feeding Davis his bottle, and Davis liked "chillin" in his car seat! ha ha

Beach baby. . . .

Davis and I took a little road trip this past weekend to Amy's house. Tatum and Cooper were so happy to see baby Davis! Tatum helped me sooo much! Cooper even wanted to give "Babis" his pappy! How sweet! ha ha Saturday morning, we headed to Rosemary Beach! We ate some GREAT seafood at Great Southern and Bud and Alleys. We even went to the beach for a little while. Davis didn't mind the sand, and Cooper and Tatum built sandcastles. Or, Tatum built sand castles while Cooper destroyed them! :) We rented a condo for the night, and had a great breakfast at Wild Olives before Davis and I headed to B'ham on Sunday. He did sooo well in the car. I couldn't believe it! The trip home took us about 5 hours with stops and diaper changes. He was great for Mom!

Lunch date and park with Harper King. . . .

Daley and Harper were in town last week, so we met for lunch at Tria and then took Harper and Davis to the park. Harper is 14 months, so Davis had fun watching all of her tricks! We strolled through Homewood Park, and then let them pose for a picture on the park bench. It was so funny! I always love seeing Harper because she wears the cutest little girl clothes ever. Daley said this outfit was a little bright for her, but it was so cute! Usually she has on something smocked which everyone knows I love for boys or girls! ha ha

Davis's first haircut/trim!

Davis had his first haircut/trim on 2/19 at 5 1/2 months! He did really well considering that it was time for his 3 o'clock bottle! Poor baby....getting a haircut so young!

Look at me Mommy!!!

This first picture is of Davis in his Dinosaur Ball Pit that Santa Claus brought him. He loves playing with the balls, especially throwing them! The second picture is a lesson learned for me!!! I feed Davis in this seat, and I had just fed him his cereal and fruit. I went to the kitchen to put the bowls in the dishwasher, and throw some things in the washing machine. I came back into the den to check on him, and he was just fine! I went to the kitchen for literally one minute to fix myself a bowl of cereal. When i came back, this is what I found!!!! Davis was out of his seat from the waist down! He is ready to get up and go!! ha! ha! Now, I buckle him in so we don't have any injuries! This cracked me up!

Surprise 60th Birthday Party for Michael's mom!

We all surprised Michael's mom with a birthday party in Florence at Dale's Steakhouse. Rene' and Sonya drove from Atlanta on Saturday with their families which was a surprise for her. That night we took her to dinner where a few friends were waiting to surprise her as well!

Weekend in Florence with Davis and cousins

We put Davis in his stroller without his car seat! He has probably been ready for that for a while now, but it's easier to just snap in the car seat when we're going places. At Mimi's house, Davis played in his stroller outside, and watched his cousins run around and play. Sunday, Carter, Claire and Davis played with Davis's "Tickle Me Elmo" doll, one of his favorites these days!

Davis meets Meemaw and Granny

Last weekend, we drove to Nashville on our way to Florence to introduce Davis to his great-grandmother, Meemaw. (left pic) Then we drove to Loretto, TN to see his great-grandmother, Granny. This was a very long day of travel, but it was fun! After Granny's we drove to Florence to spend the weekend at Michael's parents.

Waking up from a nap. . . .

I love going to get Davis up after his nap. He always smiles so big when he sees me, and he knows he's going to get picked up! This particular day he had one sock on and one off which seems to happen a lot. :)
