Highlands

I'm a little late posting this, but Amy and I took the kids to Highlands a couple of weeks ago for four nights. Let me preface by saying, it was sooooo much fun! There were lots of laughs (at ourselves), and some stress, too. (7 year old, 2 1/2 year old, 10 month old) Some people would probably say we were crazy to do this, but we survived. The funniest thing about it is that we all rode in my Tahoe. I was lucky and drove the whole time, while Amy sat on the back and played referee, handed out snacks, and provided entertainment! Cooper doesn't like Davis too much right now . . . . he's a little jealous of him actually. Amy is "his" mama, and ALL the toys are "his." Davis is in a phase where he loves, loves, loves to scream to the top of his lungs for no reason. He's usually happy or excited or wanting something you have. So Davis let out a few screams on the ride up, and Cooper would say, "Dabis, Cooper gonna spank you! Stop it!!!!" It was hilarious. To break up the trip going, we stopped at an outlet mall in Atlanta. We ate lunch, and let the kids ride the carousel which Davis loved! The day we were leaving, my keys got locked in the car (thanks to Amy), and when we were finally able to leave, Davis didn't nap well in the car on the way home. When he woke up the next morning, he had a temperature of 102. It was gone by the end of the day, but that explained the no napping. He didn't feel well. Bless his heart! So we made it home! (Notice their matching outfits that Gigi bought them! :) )
